Day 1:The tour leaves Munich and gives you a wonderful taster of the Alps as you head for Längenfeld in Austria. On the first day, we cover around 285 km, passing through wonderful alpine upland and round the picturesque resort of Kühtai to Ötz. We stop at the famous Winklstüberl for coffee and to enjoy the view. From here, we continue on through the wonderful alpine passes to Längenfeld. At the luxurious ****Superior Hotel Aqua Dome in Längenfeld you can pamper and revive yourself ready for the 2nd day.
Day 2:
After a hearty breakfast, the 2nd day of the tour departs Längenfeld heading for Merano. Today we travel around 175 km and take the Passo di Monte Giovo into Sarntal and South Tyrol where you can look forward to lunch at the ****Hotel Bad Schöngau. Once replenished, we head off for the Resia Pass to Lana near Merano. A high-calibre dinner at the wonderful five-star Hotel Villa del Sogno, on the shores of Lake Garda, makes the perfect end to the day.
Day 3:
On day 3 we depart Lana near Merano in South Tyrol. We follow idyllic mountain roads to reach the town of Desenzano. Close to Desenzano, the largest town on the shores of Lake Garda, you will experience the beauties of the Brescia province in the region of Lombardy and will have lunch in the picturesque Selva Capuzza vineyard. From here we take the route back towards Lana on the other side of the lake. Our destination is Hotel Vigilius Mountain Resort. You will spend the night at 1500 metres above sea level in this 5-star hotel where you can relax and mull over the glorious sights of the day's touring.
Day 4:
On the fourth day, we head back to our starting point, Munich. The journey takes you back across the Resia Pass and Graun to the delightful Goldene Post inn where you can recharge your batteries for the tour's final push. We take a brief break in Innsbruck before heading over the northern alpine passes for the last time and to Munich, where you can look back on your memories of the journey in the refined surroundings of the Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel.
