BMW 1500

The "New class" (internal code E115, model variants E116, E118, E121, Coupé E120) from car manufacturer BMW was unveiled at the IAA in 1961. It was the first medium-sized series to be built after the Second World War and filled the gap emerging between the small Isetta and 700, and the luxury class 501 model.

The first model to appear was the four-door notchback saloon 1500 (internal designation E115) with its 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine (80 bhp), the first version of the legendary BMW M10 engine. This model was sold between 1962 and 1966.
