BMW 1600 GT

After the BMW takeover, from September 1967 onwards, the GT model was fitted with BMW technology. The car features the engine of the BMW 1600-2 with its 105 bhp (77 kW) and the semi-trailing arm rear axle with coil springs rather than the original rigid axle with leaf springs. The radiator grille (BMW kidneys) and tail lights (round, from the 02 series) also came from BMW. But despite all this technology, the coupé only remained in production for one year. It cost DM 15 850.
